“I will leave you with this – especially for the families who were given the big scary diagnoses and probable outcomes. And remember this is coming from someone who have buried a husband and a child and gave birth to a micro-preemie over a four-year span. I know your days may be long and you are exhausted but keep going. I know that your normal may be different from everyone else but keep going. There is light on the other side and peace and joy. Remember to seek joy in the small moments for those are the moments that will sustain you when life gets really hard. And like someone told me, your babies will show you what they are capable of as long as you give them the necessary tools.”
